Festival Experience

Case Studies

Lolla Rock & Rollers

A roller skating rink at Lolla Chicago? It happened. Over four days, Rock & Rollers hosted 7,000 skaters, featured 15 free arcade games, sold 500 branded headbands and 650 pairs of tube socks, and suffered two broken bones.

Mix’d Up Cocktail Lounge

Lolla Chicago’s first GA cocktail bar occupied a lovely patch of garden right by Lake Michigan. “Mix’d Up” was a nautical-themed oasis where patrons could soak up the lake breezes and sponsored cocktails.

Festival Bodegas

The bodega was designed to be modular and re-brandable, traveling from festival to festival to provide a healthy grab-and-go option for patrons.

Lolla Time Warp

To celebrate Lollapalooza’s 25th anniversary, theTime warp took over Grant Park’s Court of Presidents with 15 custom-designed plexiglass obelisks featuring 45 iconic artist photographs, a lenticular gallery wall, and 900 square feet of wheatpasted Lolla posters.

Jane Says

I partnered with Lollapalooza founder Perry Farrell in the creative development and execution of a unique array of connected activations and experiences across Lolla Chicago, with geotargeted messaging, RFID interactivity, and prizes.

ACL Fest Flags

I designed and produced over 200 flags for ACL’s key yearly art installation, which has become an integral part of the festival identity and most-photographed activation.

Towers & Pop-Ups

I brought festival brands to life through the production of custom made sculptural photo-ops built with foam, truss, scrim, wood, and ballast. Many incorporated custom lighting, with additional surprises like bubbles or fire.
